Alvechurch Keeper Sent Off After Ten Minutes

Alvechurch keeper Matt Sargeant has been sent off after just ten minutes in their game at Boldmere this evening.

Sargeant is reported to have taken out Boldmere striker Simon Maye when he was through on goal.

Alvechurch have a substitute keeper Paul Evans on their bench.

Just before half time Boldmere have had a player, Joseph Lyng, sent off for a 'rash challenge'.

Score at half-time: Boldmere 0 Alvechurch 0

Nick Wright missed a penalty for Alvechurch 20 minutes into second half

Agbor scored for Boldmere on 25 minutes.

'Driving run and shot by Fletcher, well saved by Evans but Agbor heads home the rebound.'

Score remains 1-0 to Boldmere, injury time being played.

Alvechurch hit the bar in the final minutes but Boldmere hang on for a 1-0 win.

Update: Sargeant's red card probably doesn't come into effect for 14 days, therefore he should be able to play against Hereford on Easter Monday.
