Salisbury FC have released a statement which in essence asks supporters to be patient whilst details for the FA Vase ties with Hereford are sorted.
We would ask everyone to be patient, however, while we finalise all the necessary details.
Currently, we are talking to Hereford, the police, local authorities and other relevant bodies over what needs to happen. This involves all the various elements of such big games including capacity, segregation, ticketing, bars etc.
We hope to have information on all these aspects of the two games, especially our home game, as soon as we can and will communicate them with supporters as soon as possible.
Please remember that we seek to be professional in all our dealings, as we have shown in handling big crowds thus far. However, we are a new club, without a full-time staff, and we are sharing all the jobs around the club as a board of directors and volunteers as we now look to host the biggest game to date in the club's short history.
It is best to get the arrangements right, rather than made in haste, and we hope all will understand that.
