Yeovil are reported to have lost an appeal against the club's former pitch contractors over work done in 2012. The club had previously been told by the court they were not only not liable to pay for the work done, but that the contractor had to pay them £16,500 for the work done to rectify the problems. The club are now reported to be subject to a legal bill in excess of the original disputed amount.
The Southern League have announced an extension to their current sponsorship deal. The deal with Evo-Stik will now run into the 2016/17 season, having started in 2014. Salisbury have signed striker Jamie White, who previously had a two year stint at the Ray Mac Stadium. The 26 year old scored 38 times in 76 games for the former club until 2014 when he moved to Bristol Rovers.
Pubs and shops around Blackpool's Bloomfield Road say they have seen huge drops in trade this season. The club's supporters are boycotting the club over the ownership of the Oyston family, with true attendances - excluding sold season tickets - reported to be as low as 3,000 after topping 10,000 last season. Businesses around the ground say they are losing up to 70% of trade due to the issues.
Worcester are reported to have earned just £14,000 in sponsorship and commercial income last season. The previous season recorded income of over £75,000. The club expects to lose £120,000 this season, eating into their £650,000 cash pile left from the sale of the ground. Gloucester are proposing to revert to their old Red and White kit, having switched to the current Gold and Black in conjunction with a sponsorship in 1987.
Torquay have confirmed they are in early discussions over a new stadium for the club. An unnamed American firm has proposed a new development to include a £7.5million 6,000 capacity ground on a new link road outside the town.
