Yeovil chairman John Fry says he will consider 'serious' offers for the club after 10 years at the helm. He and fellow director Norman Hayward own 92% of the club between them, with Fry having first taken control ten years ago. The Glovers are currently just one point and one place clear of the League Two relegation zone.

One of the better run clubs Altrincham have called for more volunteers to help the club after posting a £40,000 loss for last season. The National League side are expecting to lose a similar amount this term, and say they will have just £38,000 in cash reserves by the end of the season. Nearly a quarter of their current income comes from a new Community Sports Hall, but they still have a £110,000 funding gap on the £750,000 cost of the development.

The FA have relaxed rules for ground requirements of Step 6 clubs after a survey found that 53% of the current Step 6 clubs fail to meet the stronger grading requirements introduced for the coming season. Leagues will now be able to agree to accept existing member clubs without the required 'G' grade, but that the clubs would not be allowed to enter the FA Cup or Vase until they achieved the grading.
