Hereford FC manager Peter Beadle commented to TalkSport after learning that Hereford would play Salisbury in the semi-final of the FA Vase. The first leg will be at Edgar Street on March 12th and the second at Salisbury a week later.
"The semi-finals they are all going to be good sides whoever you play," said Beadle
"I think the neutrals would like liked to have seen a Hereford v Salisbury final but we know that both games will be a fantastic event because they are two clubs that have been massively backed by supporters and they are getting back to where they want to be.
"It will be a massive celebration on both days.
"It will be a massive celebration on both days.
"Hopefully they will be two fantastic games and may the best team win."
Salisbury manager Steve Claridge also commented.
"If we were both to go to Wembley, we might get 20,000 possibly 30,000 there, it would seem a third full.
"We're going to have two games here where we could probably sell the tickets two or three times over at both grounds.
"Both supporters will take big away followings, they will be magnificent occasions and also the best team will probably win over two legs.
"That doesn't always happen when it's one leg, because one leg can be decided on a bit of luck, ball hitting the post and not going in.
"Two legs is far more tactical, it gives both teams the correct time to apply themselves and have a chance to show their true colours.
"From our prospective we're both throughly looking forward to it, both will fancy our chances, we'll both going to have a brilliant time over the two legs and I'm sure Peter will get a great welcome from us and we'll get the same from him.
"And I'm just wondering whether he ever did his A licence after that B licence."
Beadle replied:
"It's all done Steve, all done and finished!"
Hereford FC chairman Jon Hale has tweeted:
'Absolutely mouth watering draw. Two fantastic clubs, semi-final, ultimate prize. Look forward to welcoming@SalisburyFC to Edgar Street.'
