Didcot Door Always Open For Mills

Didcot Town would love to have their former striker John Mills back on their books but they admit that isn't likely.

Mills has continued his quest for goals this season with 38 to date.

“The budget that the club operates on would mean that we wouldn’t be likely to afford to bring Millsy back in, however, he’s a great lad and it’s fantastic what he’s doing at Hereford," said manager Andy Ballard.

“The door is always open for a return should he look for it.”

Meanwhile the Hereford Times has published a few quotes from defender Ryan Green who was sent off at Hartley Wintney last Saturday.

Hartley's Ross Cook was also sent off.

Green alledged Cook had spat at Pablo Haysham.

"It is the worst case I have come across in my career, I've never seen anything like it," said Green.

"If you spit at anyone, you should be handed a life ban and he also put his head against Joel Edwards.

"It's a great club and I hope they do well, but they've been let down by the actions of one player."

Hereford FC manager Peter Beadle also commented to the HT.

"It's unfortunate that Ryan did that, but when you have 75 minutes of constant niggling, you have to be extremely strong willed not to react."
