Camberley Manager Hopes Hereford Will Win At Hartley

Camberley manager Dan Turkington has said that he is setting his sights on his team taking part in the FA Vase final at Wembley in May and is hoping Hereford will defeat Hartley Wintney on Saturday.

Last Saturday Camberley defeated Newton Aycliffe and will travel to either Hartley Wintney or Hereford FC in the quarter-finals set for February 20th.

Currently Hartley are eight points ahead of Camberley in the Combined Counties league and Hereford are on a very good run so whoever they face will be a challenge.

"I think we are good enough to beat anyone on our day," Turkington told Get Surrey.

"We’ve beaten Hartley Wintney once this season and we can do it again, while Hereford will give the lads a huge lift in playing in front of a big 4,000+ crowd for the first time."

Turkington is reported to best mates with Hartley's Anthony Millerick.

"I’d much rather beat Hereford than Millers to be honest, but he knows I’ve got the measure of his team right now so we won’t fear going there either."
