Lincoln City's proposed investor has been revealed as a South African Hedge Fund manager. Clive Nates says he started following Lincoln after an early '90s link up with his main club Everton. Over the past few years his interest has grown, leading to himself and two others agreeing to put a seven-figure sum into the club.
Heanor Town have signed a trio of new players with goalkeeper Joe McCormack, utility player Callum Mawbey and striker Dan Fletcher adding to their squad. McCormack drops down a level, Mawbey switches Step 5 divisions, while Fletcher joins on a loan from Mansfield, with the Stags also agreeing a deal to train at Heanor's Town Ground facility.
Alvechurch have signed experienced striker Nick Wright from Rushall Olympic. The 28 year old is on his fourth club of the season, having started at National North Corby Town before a month at Southern League Premier side Kettering.
