Hanford Helps Clear-Up In Carlisle

The severe flooding that has affected Carlisle and the surrounding area has prompted members of the Carlisle football team to help with the clearing-up.

However one of them, former Hereford United goalkeeper Dan Hanford, had flooding problems of his own to contend with.

He found his damaged BMW with a wheelie-bin on it's roof.

A number of the players were affected themselves but the League Two stars still helped out

And it wasn't only his car that had suffered from the floods.

Hanford and his girlfriend Suzi were due to move into a new house this week but it's been flooded and now 'resembles a bomb site'.
