A total of four Midland Premier League clubs have applied for promotion according to details released by the FA.
As well as Hereford FC, they are Alvechurch, Heanor and Sporting Khalsa. Eight teams from the Midland Football League applied last season.
Clubs at Step Five had until November 30th to complete their applications. Altogether there were 61 applications.
The Western League had seven applications while the Southern Combination and Southern Counties East had six applications.
There was just one, Bishop Auckland, from the Northern League.
