Yesterday's attendance of 4060 at Edgar Street was a Midlands League Record.
The largest crowd ever registered previously was 1,280, for the match between Racing Club Warwick and local rivals Leamington on 26 December 2005.
Not only was 4060 higher than all but one other non-league game, it also topped several League gates.
At Fleetwood in League One just 3228 watched their game against Southend. And at Rochdale a gate of 3319 was recorded for their game against Peterborough.
In League Two there were 2359 at Accrington, 3652 at Stevenage and 3688 at Wycombe.
In the Conference Tranmere had a gate of 5583. Every other fixture recorded attendances well below that at Edgar Street.
Back to the Midlands League and the second highest gate of the day was at Long Eaton United with just 132.
