Heanor Town have announced two further signings. 37 year old midfielder Chris Bettney, who played for the likes of Hull, Chesterfield, and Rochdale in the 1990's, has joined the Lions. Also signing is central defender Ryan Booker, who played for Step 7 sides Plinxton and Clay Cross last season.
Former Bull Daniel Lloyd-Weston has joined Worcester City. The 23 year old is to challenge current incumbent Nathan Vaughan for the no.1 shirt, with the former England C man planning to relocate from Crewe to Cheltenham in order to study at Hartpury College. Jennison Myrie-Williams is on trial at Yeovil Town. The 27 year old ended last season at Tranmere.
Gloucester City say it is all but impossible for them to have their new ground ready for the start of the 2016/17 season after a planned two phase development was shelved. The ground will now be built in one go, with ex-Bull Murray Fishlock working with the club on behalf of a funding body to secure financing for the new development.
Rocester have signed Karl Demidh for the coming season from Mickleover Sports. The striker netted 12 times for the NPL South champions last term. Bristol Rovers have been granted permission to lodge an appeal against the High Court ruling that Sainsbury pulled out of their deal to redevelop their ground lawfully. The appeal is hoped to be heard before the end of the year.
Forest Green have reported season ticket sales are up 25% on last season. They say they have sold 400 this summer, having sold 250 in the season before Dale Vince took over the club.
