A group of about eight volunteers have spent much of today painting the exterior of the Meadow End at Hereford FC's Edgar Street stadium.
Some of the walls haven't been painted for sometime and when they were it's appears an incorrect type of paint was used.
The handrails were also painted after being wire-brushed.
Ideally there is more work to do, but it looks so much better than it has done for many years.
Hereford FC's Chris Ammonds was full of praise.
"We've just been looking at the Meadow End externally.
"When you approach the Meadow End you see the outside first and to have that tidied up now and repainted is fantastic.
"With the cladding it's almost like a completely different end.
"I think people will walk up there now and get a smile on their face before they even enter the ground."
Later chairman Jon Hale tweeted: 'Once again thank you to everyone who has been helping at the club today in any capacity. Beyond the call of duty.'
