Hereford FC have announced two more signings, Joel Edwards and Ben Miller. Both are players who have previous links with Edgar Street.
‘I am pleased to announce two more familiar faces have agreed to join Hereford FC,' said manager Peter Beadle.
‘Both Joel Edwards and Ben Miller have agreed terms in the past few days and I’m delighted to have them on board for the new season.
‘Joel has Conference experience and is a tough tackling, versatile defender, who can play centre half or left back. I was a big admirer of Joel when he was at Edgar Street previously and felt he should have played a lot more than he did.
‘Ben Miller was part of my successful youth team and went on to complete the second year of his scholarship at West Bromwich Albion. Having recently been released, he looks likely to go to Hartpury College next year.
‘Ben can play up top or on the left and
has a sweet left foot. I believe he’s a really positive attacking
player and will prove an exciting addition to the squad.
‘On top of the news about Joel and Ben, I can also confirm that I’m talking to quite a number of players, while there are plenty who have been in touch who I will be speaking to soon.
‘However, I’ve no doubt that I’ll use the early training sessions and pre-season games to look at some of the highly recommended players I’ve not seen a huge amount of with my own eyes.
‘All in all I’m fairly content with where we are right now in terms of building our squad. I feel it is right to be patient as there are a lot of players available and quite a number who are considering various options before they will commit to making final decisions.’
