We are pleased to announce that former Hereford United utility man Rob Purdie has agreed a deal to become Hereford FC manager Pete Beadle’s seventh signing for the 2015/16 season.

Speaking earlier this evening, Beadle said:
‘Tonight I’m pleased to announce the seventh confirmed signing for the upcoming season.
‘Joining us is another very familiar player, Rob Purdie.
‘I’m delighted Rob has agreed to come in for 2015/16 and I know he’s pleased to be back at Edgar Street in a playing capacity.
‘As with Tony James, Rob has a wealth of experience that will be invaluable to the team next season.
‘Like Tony, Rob will be a good role model for the younger players, and will be there to help guide them off the pitch, as well as on it.
‘His appetite and application in training and in games will have a huge influence on the players around him and I know he will prove an excellent signing for us.’
