News Round-Up

Farnborough are to go back to creditors to renegotiate their CVA deal. Joint owner Rob Prince told supporters at the turn of the year the club had paid 'a very significant sum' to clear the debt but the CVA Administrator's report says the club has paid just £19.69 of a £1,254,263 debt that they agreed to pay 100% back two years ago. The club are now offering just £20,000 in total settlement after being relegated from Conf South this summer.

Alvechurch have announced a further 11 players that have committed to the club for the coming season, taking the total up to 16. The number includes 19 year old striker Josh March, who scored 19 times for Causeway in the MFL last term. Ex-Bull Chris Carruthers has returned to Corby Town after a season with Conf North side Brackley Town. The 32 year old was Corby's player of the year in 13/14 before switching sides.

Grimsby fans have raised over £40,000 in a week after their Supporters Trust started a fundraising initiative to boost the club's player budget. The original target of £20,000 is now up to £50,000 after over 1,100 fans pledged to the cause in the opening week. Local rivals Lincoln have now started their own fundraising drive on the same basis.
