News Round-Up

Former Bulls loanee Jay Lovett has rejoined Lewes as a player at the age of 37. He will combine the role with that of Assistant Manager and Academy Director. Joe Colbeck has joined National League North side Harrogate from league rivals Bradford PA. The 28 year old scored 4 times in 44 games for the Avenue last term.

Torquay say they will close the club's Academy structure in a bid to cut costs, relying on local clubs and the Devon FA to develop talent under the age of 16. One of the ten man consortium, David Phillips, has been named as the new Chairman. Commercial Manager Dean Edwards is now Director of Football and says the club is in the worst state he has ever seen it during 25 years in and around Plainmoor.

Telford have scrapped the role of Commercial Director after just a year. They will revert to having a full time Commercial Manager in a bid to increase commercial revenue after scrapping that role last summer, bringing the commercial remit under the control of a volunteer director. Former Bulls loanee Jennison Myrie-Williams has been released by Scunthorpe by mutual consent. The 27 year old ended the season on loan at Tranmere and was midway through a two year deal.
