Westfields Chief Executive Andy Morris has said that having both Westfields and Hereford FC in the same league will be fantastic for the city.
Morris told the Hereford Times that he hoped Westfields would play at home when Hereford FC were away and he also hoped that the games between the two clubs could take place on August Bank Holiday Monday and Boxing Day.
"My first job tomorrow morning will be to write to the Midland
Football League to alter the fixtures for when Hereford are home.
"I will also talk to Martin Watson (Hereford FC secretary) to see if we they can come to us on August Bank Holiday and we go to them on Boxing Day."
Meanwhile given the number of spectators likely to want to watch Westfields home game against Hereford FC, there has already been a suggestion that the game should be played at Edgar Street. It's not known if Midland League rules would allow this to happen.
