Supporters Direct have announced that Chief Executive Robin Osterley has resigned from the organisation.
He is the second high profile departure in the last month after Kevin Rye's departure, having held the post for less than a year. A statement from Chairman Brian Burgess reads:
As some of you may already be aware Robin Osterley has decided to resign from SD and will be leaving at the end of May.
In the meantime he will continue to field any emails and calls from external contacts to pass them to an appropriate member of staff or the Board and to assist an orderly handover of key relationships.
On behalf of the SD Board I thank Robin for his hard work and for all of the good things he has done for SD. We wish him well for the future.
SD is facing a number of challenges. Our reputation and opportunities are as strong as they have ever been but there are also pressures on our funding and operations in England and Wales, Scotland and Europe and we plan to carry out a comprehensive strategic review of our structure and governance models to help the continued growth and success of SD, and the Supporters Trust movement.
We will keep you informed as things progress.
