Former Bulls loanee Matt Bailey has signed for AFC Telford for the coming season. The 29 year old will act as a central defender for the Bucks, having switched between that role and as a striker during his career. The 6ft 5in former Crewe man had a spell with the Bucks during the 13/14 season before joining Nantwich Town, and is one of four early signings by boss Steve Kittrick.

The 31 year old was captain of the Exiles and named as Player of the Year by the local newspaper but was reported to have been offered a reduced contract by Terry Butcher. He becomes the 14th player to leave the Rodney Parade side this summer, returning to the Gumpers where he had a three year spell before his Edgar Street stay.
