Kevin Rye At The Launch Of Hust In August 2013 |
Kevin Rye, who has been involved with the setting up of HUST, is leaving Supporters Direct.
‘For over 11 years Kevin has been a committed member of the SD team and we will be very sorry to lose him.
‘He has been the outward face of SD for many people, and has been a faithful supporter and proponent of the supporter ownership movement for all that time.
‘We wish Kevin all the very best for the future, and thank him very much indeed for all he has done in his many years’ service to supporters everywhere.’
One matter in particular that Rye helped HUST with was the application to register Edgar Street as an Asset of Community Value
"This is a significant early achievement for a young supporters' trust," said Rye in December 2013.
"It is right to set its sights high, and I fully expect the organisation to grow and grow."
