News Round-Up

Margate are considering a switch to a full time structure if they win promotion from the Ryman Premier. The club, managed by former Aldershot boss Terry Brown, are hoping for a play-off spot with chairman Bob Laslett aiming to get the club into the Football League but will need substantial development of their home ground - an issue that saw them almost go bankrupt ten years ago.

James McQuilkin will get every chance to earn a new deal at Torquay, with boss Chris Hargreaves saying he will pick the diminutive midfielder over club captain Luke Young in order for him to impress in the final matches. The 26 year old has played sixteen times, including twelve starts, since joining the club at the end of last year on non-contract terms.

The anti-racist Kick It Out campaign has urged Carlisle to refuse entry to some Hartlepool fans tomorrow. The monkey hangers have a tradition of wearing fancy dress for their final away game, and supporters have chosen to dress up as Bob Marley this time round. However the campaign have asked the Cumbrian side to refuse access to anyone who has 'blacked up'.

Cheltenham chairman Paul Baker says the club will remain full time if it drops into the Conference. If the club does drop down to the fifth tier season ticket prices will remain the same as if they were in League Two, with the club announcing a freeze on prices.
