Former Hereford United striker Steve Guinan is running the London Marathon tomorrow (Sunday) in aid of Children with Cancer.
He's never run a marathon before and recently said he couldn't remember the last time he ran.
"Although playing football for
years gives you a decent level of fitness, I can't remember the last
time I ever ran," Guinan told the League Paper.
"Sometimes the training has been a grind but I just want it to be here now and complete the race - well race is the wrong word."
Including gift aid Guinan has already raised £6610 much of which came from the recent friendly game at Westfields where a Guinan XI played a HUST XI.
