Chris Swan, the chairman of Redditch Football Club, is reportedly plotting to move his club to Edgar Street.
Last Monday week Swan was seen at Edgar Street along with former Hereford United chairman David Keyte. They had met the Hereford Council and then were taken to the football ground. A photographer with them was seen taking pictures.
It has since emerged that Swan wants to move the Redditch club lock stock
and barrel to Edgar Street.
It's understood he will fund buses for the Redditch 150 or so
to travel to their new home game venue.
Swan has spoken to senior people at the FA about a move and had a 'sympathetic' hearing.
BN has been told that Keyte has been 'advising' Swan. It's also thought that former Hereford United directors Nic Nenadich and Bob Pritchard have also been consulted about the venture.
Swan has been looking for a new ground for Redditch FC for some time.
Update Feb 18th 10pm: Bob Pritchard has told BN that he has not been involved in this venture.
"I have not spoken to David Keyte since the sell on, who seems to have been involved in this interest and I have never spoken to the chairman of Redditch."
