A group of HUFC supporters are
appealing for help in putting together a proposal for a community
owned successor club to Hereford United.
Below is a statement from them:
“While we are aware that it is very
late in the day we feel that supporters deserve to be made fully
aware of the feasibility or otherwise of community owned successor
club to HUFC along lines described by Supporter's Direct:Below is a statement from them:

Supporters Direct have suggested that potentially this is still feasible, and the HUST board have indicated a willingness to listen to any proposals presented. We are working to put together a costed plan to present to both the HUST board and the HUST membership.
We strongly encourage any supporters who are interested to get in touch as soon as possible.
We are particularly interested to hear from people who could assist with the following:
1. The current state of the Edgar Street stadium and the reasoning behind the reduction in capacity
2. Hands on experience of setting up a community led club at any level
3. Internet and social media skills
4. Experience of or contacts within Herefordshire Council
These areas aside, we would like to stress that we are keen to hear from anyone who feels they could help in any way whatsoever. There is a huge amount to do. And obviously time is now in short supply. Any time, help, skills or enthusiasm you can bring to the party would be warmly welcomed.
