Above is a copy of a fax from European Finance Guarantee Limited which BN understands was shown to the High Court last Monday in support of chairman Andy Lonsdale claim to be able to put £1M into Hereford United.
There are both spelling mistakes and poor english in the fax.
For example 'practise' should be practice and 'the before mentioned' is usually written as aforementioned.
Also note the way dollars and pounds are written.
It's USD 9.000.000.00
But it's GBP5. 000.000.00
Interestingly it suggests Lonsdale has £5M in this account. If true, this puts more pressure on him to explain why the club couldn't raise the £300K required by the Conference to remain in that League.
Finally it doesn't take 15 working days to transfer funds from a European Bank to a UK bank. BN understands that normally takes 2 days.
It appears that the 15 day mention has been put in the document to try to obtain a further adjournment at the High Court when the winding up petition is next heard on December 15th.
Perhaps another stalling attempt?
