News Round-Up

Lincoln have put manager Gary Simpson on 'gardening leave' after a review of the season so far by the club's board. Chris Moyses, a former player and youth coach who is also on the club's board, has been put in temporary charge. The Imps are 13th in the Conference table, eight points below the play-offs, with chairman Bob Dorrian already having expressed concern at falling gates.

Former Nuneaton owner Ian Neale has denied assault charges at a court hearing on Friday. The 48 year old quit his role with the club after the charges, where he is alleged to have assaulted three people. The matter will go to trial in January.

Walsall have announced a profit of £19,000 for last season, down from £23,000 the year before. Club debt was cut by nearly £400,000 after selling two players for six figure fees, but they are still £2.3million in debt owed mostly to Directors.
