Former Player Dai Thomas Has Died

The death has been announced of Dai Thomas, a former Hereford United player, who joined the club in the summer of 1963 and went on to make nine appearances for the club.

Thomas was a full back who spent much of his career with Swansea City.

He played alongside players such as Harry Griffiths, Mel Nurse, Mel Charles and Ivor Allchurch in what was regarded as the Swansea 'dream team'.

After leaving Swansea he moved to Newport County before moving to Edgar Street.
