News Round-Up

Kidderminster say that former Directors Ernie and Kath Lane have agreed to continue their funding of the club after negotiations. The pair left the board in the summer with the Harriers launching legal action to recover sums that the pair had agreed to hand over, however that action has now been dropped after a settlement.

Westfields have been named the FA Charter Standard Club of the Year. The Midlands Football League side were presented with the award by Colin Addison. Former Bull Chris Hargreaves was sent off from the dugout at half time of Torquay's 2-1 loss to Forest Green last night. Richard Brodie scored the only goal of the game as Southport beat Grimsby. It was the Sandgrounders' first goal in five games.

Telford say they will need to generate another £300,000 a season - the equivalent of 650 extra fans to each game - to become competitive in the Conference Premier. The Bucks have turnover of £850,000 but are competing against sides with two or three times the sum available.
