Goalless Draw At Poole

Keeper Luke Williams Kept The Bulls In The Game With A Number Of Fine Saves
Hereford United drew 0-0 at Poole Town in today's Southern League Premier match.

Wearing a kit borrowed from the hosts after apparently arriving at the ground without their own, Jon Taylor's side were thankful to goalkeeper Luke Williams for a string of saves that stopped the league leaders from bagging another three points.

Taylor introduced players no. 40 and 41 to the teamsheet with 'trialists' Aaron Opoku and Aaron Wickham both named on the bench with Opoku coming on late in the game.

Update - it is reported that they had to use Poole's kit as they brought their white home shirts which clashed with Poole's White and Red halved shirt.

Despite picking up a point Hereford remain in 16th position with 17 points from 16 games.

The attendance was 410 which included about 60 Hereford supporters, more than at any recent away fixture.
