'Hereford United's' Youth Team won their FA Youth Cup-Tie this evening.
In what was described as a 'tough' game, they defeated Wednesfield 4-1. Rob Purdie's side raced into a two goal lead but were pegged back to 2-1 before a third just before half time restored the advantage.
A fourth came from the penalty spot with the home keeper lucky to stay on the pitch for one of a number of reckless challenges that saw the home side have many of their players booked - eventually leading to a late red card.
