News Round-Up

Former Bulls loanee Karl Hawley has signed a deal at Alfreton. The 32 year old left Torquay ahead of the closure of the transfer window and was a free agent, signing a deal at the Impact Arena until the end of the season. Newport boss Justin Edinburgh hopes that former Bull Byron Anthony can overcome a year long injury nightmare. The 30 year old has missed the last year after a double leg break which required two operations, the second in March after playing six games with severe pain. He is now reported to have a back injury.

Salisbury's ownership battle has been delayed a further seven days after the Moroccan businessman current in charge failed to turn up at the High Court yesterday. The judge gave his seven further days to present evidence. Tuesday's opponents Paulton have seen a bid for former Bristol Rovers striker Lewis Haldane rejected by the player, who scored 31 times for Yate Town last season in the division below. Haldane quit the full time game two years ago due to injury.

Cheltenham have signed goalkeeper Matthew Gould on a one year deal. The teenager is the son of former Bulls keeper Jonathan Gould, and grandson of Bobby Gould.
