Former Staff Still Waiting For Tax Documentation

A number of former staff are still waiting for their P45 documents from Hereford United up to five months after leaving.

Director John Edwards told some former staff during the creditors CVA meeting on August 14th that he would resolve P45 issues the following day as there was 'no reason' to delay the documentation, however a number are still waiting for the documents, final payslips, and payments.

It is understood that the club has not issued any payslips to staff for three months, leaving many on emergency tax codes with HMRC for their new jobs - meaning they have no only not been paid for their work with the club, but are now also being penalised for the club not completing correct documentation.

It has also been revealed that the tills in the bars have been repossessed by the lease company. Hereford Scale Co, whom the tills were leased from, were listed on the CVA documentation, prepared two months ago, as being owed £288 with the rental on each till only a few pounds each week.

Radfords was closed on Saturday for undisclosed reasons, but it is understood that the club still owns enough tills to have operated the bars.
