Fans Team vs Kidderminster XI on Sunday

Hereford United Supporters team play their first home game this coming Sunday at their new official home - Old School Lane, Pegasus Juniors against a Kidderminster Harriers fans team, who themselves have some ex legends in their ranks.

The game comes two weeks after HUST’s first win of the season, a 4-1 win over Graham Turners Mayors Side, which contained 5 ex Hereford players, as well as supporters, who donated money to the Adam Stansfield foundation, for the chance to play alongside the ex pros.

John Layton and Physio Jonny Evans masterminded the victory, and as a result, keep their managerial rolls for the second game in a row, unlike their predecessors who all lost their jobs after just one game.

Again, the fans team will contain some ex Pros, with Tony James and Matt Clarke both returning to the side after missing the mayors game. More players will be announced in the coming days.

A familiar face will line up for Kiddy, with ex Bulls striker, Leroy May, making an appearance for United’s Worcestershire rivals. Harriers legends Adie Smith and Dean Bennett, who clocked up over 600 games between them, are also in their squad.

Kick off is 3pm, with a fully stocked bar, and entry will be just £2 - donated to UITC.

Your support has been really appreciated over the first 4 games, and we hope to see as many of you there as possible.
