Hereford United met with the local Safety Advisory Group today over the capacity at Edgar Street.
The club last tweeted on September 4th that it hoped to have increased the capacity 'before the next home game' which was on September 20th. However the 1,000 capacity limit remains in place, with the club issuing a statement this afternoon.

Following a meeting held today between the Safety Advisory Group (SAG) and representatives of Hereford United, the following statement has been released:
Hereford United Football Club is working towards increasing the capacity of the ground. The SAG is satisfied with the Club’s safety at present and will consider the capacity increase once further information is submitted.
The Club will be providing detailed information in support of this request and will be making every effort to address comprehensively any issues raised by the SAG.
This is an important spectator issue and we hope for a decision in the next couple of weeks.
