Willimont Tweet "Speculation"

Hereford United chairman Andy Lonsdale says that it is 'speculation' that the club have failed to provide the necessary documentation to the Council to have a safety certificate granted for Edgar Street.

Council head of Environmental Health and Planning Marc Willimont tweeted last Tuesday that the club had yet to submit all the paperwork, but Lonsdale told the Hereford Times that they had done 'all that they can' to complete documentation ahead of Tuesday's meeting.

Bulls News understands that the emergency lighting system failed tests last week. A new CCTV system has also been installed at the ground, while there remains uncertainty whether the club have appointed a new Safety Officer after their main candidate reportedly rejected the job.
