Police Praise Protest Behaviour

The Police were happy with the behaviour of protesting fans outside Edgar Street today according to the Hereford Times.

With a length of the car park coned off to allow space for the protestors, they spilled out into the road due to sheer numbers and had to spread wide down the full length of the Starlite Rooms and past the players entrance to keep one lane of the road open.

The Hereford United team sheet was only revealed more than a quarter of an hour into the game:

The sheet included a new face, goalkeeper Luke Williams. Meanwhile, the paper reported that Tommy Agombar was in the technical area at one stage after the home side went 1-0 down:

The paper also estimated the attendance to be 400. The official attendance was announced later at 568.

Whatever the true figure was, it was not a patch on the 2,445 that attended against Alfreton in April or the figure that travelled to Aldershot.
