Two of last season's squad have agreed to turn out for the HUST Fans Team.
Two time Player of the Year Rob Purdie will be joined by Joel Edwards. Both have taken part time jobs in the city this summer and are expected to continue playing for local sides this coming season.
Also joining the ranks is Tony James. The 35 year old retired from playing at the end of the season and is now Newport's Strength and Conditioning Coach.
