A list of creditors submitted by Hereford United to Monday's High Court hearing did not include Herefordshire Council.
The Hereford Times (link) reports that a list was submitted to the winding-up petition hearing but the Council's name did not appear on it. A statement sent to the paper read: “We are unaware of why we may have been omitted from the creditor list during the recent winding up order meeting.”
The Council remain owed £65,000 by the club and appear intent to wait out the current three week adjournment to see how matters pan out.
The winding-up petition, brought by Martin Foyle, had both HMRC and Andy Porter attach their debts to the proceedings.
