Dave Preedy has confirmed to the Hereford Times that he quit his board role two weeks ago.
Preedy wanted news of his departure kept secret until the deal to sell the club was complete. The paper reports that he left 'due to differences of opinion within the boardroom'.
BN understands that he was not part of the deal that saw David Keyte sell his shares to the new owners.
