David Keyte has told BBC Hereford and Worcester he has been in meetings with Tommy Agombar most of the day.
Keyte spoke to sports editor Trevor Owens.
'David Keyte has told me that he has been in talks with new owner Tommy Agombar and his advisors throughout the day and they are fully aware of the need to satisfy the Conference board.
'David Keyte insists the new team is focused on the criteria laid down by the League and is working towards achieving that goal.'
Meanwhile former player Gareth Davies has also spoken to BBC H&W.
"Hereford United is still there, at present, and we've got to see what their intentions are.
"Let's hope they've got a lot of financial backing and let's hope they can put Hereford United back on the map."
