Mark Ellis, the consultant, who is helping put a team together at Hereford United is trying to recruit more players.
His company Crystal Management has reportedly been in touch with several players based in the home counties during the past few days.
One of them is understood to be Taylor Parr, a left back who was with Cambridge United. Another is said to be former Stevenage keeper Nick Thompson.
It's not known if either has travelled to Hereford to take part in training.
