News Round-Up


New Eastleigh signing James Constable says he turned down Oxford's offer of a new deal as it was only for one year and included a pay cut from his previous deal. Former Bulls loanee Byron Webster has been linked with a trio of Championship clubs after rejecting new terms with Yeovil. The 27 year old was a regular for the Huish Park outfit as they fell out of the second tier after bit-part seasons with Northampton, Doncaster, and York.

Grimsby midfielder Andi Thanoj has turned down a new contract with the club. The 21 year old Albanian is expected to move to a club on the continent. Kidderminster have promoted former Bulls defender Josh Gowling to the role of player coach. The 30 year old has spent the last two seasons at Aggborough and has started taking his coaching badges.

Alfreton midfielder Josh Law has joined SPL side Motherwell on a free transfer. The out of contract 24 year old follows brother Nicky to Scottish football, with the 27 year old having left Motherwell for Rangers last summer. Telford have agreed terms with striker Andy Owens over a new contract for next season, but they have let midfielder Robbie Booth go and allowed Stockport to speak to Russell Benjamin.
