Former Bulls defender Darren Jones is expected to sign for Newport in the next few days after turning down a new deal with Wimbledon. The 30 year old joined the Dons from Shrewsbury in January on a short term deal but is set to join his hometown club for a second time. Halifax striker Lee Gregory is reported to be considering a contract offer from MK Dons. The 25 year old is likely to cost £200,000 according to press speculation.

Bristol Rovers' plans for a new stadium are on hold again after an application was submitted to English Heritage to get their existing ground listed as a war memorial.
