A short report from last night's fundraising meeting held at Starlite Rooms.
Hereford United supporter Justin Ratcliffe chaired the meeting which was attended by directors Dave Preedy and Bob Pritchard, event manager Ellen Moore and Mark Farmer from the OS along with about twelve supporters
Bob Pritchard told the meeting that the club needed to raise about £83K to pay the Taxman and football creditors.
He said he was working on a telecom deal which would bring in about £20K. It's thought it is a five year deal on one of the masts.
There was £12K to come from the bond which was placed with Hereford Council and also some rent and earnings from the Community Trust. Hopefully, he said, they were close to half-way raising the required money.

Various possible money making events were discussed including absailing down a local church and celebrating 90 years of Hereford United.
It was also felt that more effort needed to be put into promoting events at The Starlite Rooms.
Two other points. The club are very short of Edgars and Ellen Moore could do with some more volunteers to help at the Starlite Rooms.
A further meeting to discuss fundraising has been set for next Tuesday evening at 7.30pm in Addisons.
