Peter Beadle |
Hereford United caretaker manager Peter Beadle has said that the squad are focused on the game at Barnet tomorrow despite all the upheaval at Edgar Street recently.
"We were taken aback with the Gaffer and Porter leaving," Beadle told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"Even after the recent run of performances and results it was a surprise.
"There are not going to be any miracle changes over such a short period of time.
"What we've got to do is try and get a bit of belief in the players, show a bit of faith in them, get behind them, support them as best we can, and make sure they understand what the job in hand is.
"I think they know that."
Beadle hasn't had much time to prepare the squad.
"But who knows what might happen, it only takes one game to turn things around, and it could be Saturday.
"It's not been a massive secret exactly what's been happening.
"We know there have been problems at the club for a long time.
"But at the end of the day we still have jobs to do.
"It's not ideal circumstances but if they are going to come to the club to train, then they have got to come to the club in the right frame of mind we the purpose of coming and trying to get a couple of results over the next couple of weeks.
"If there not in the right frame of mind then don't come in.
"May be the good thing is that it's happened in the middle of the week which means we haven't got a lot of thinking time because we've got to get our mind on Saturday.
"It's just one game, one performance that could flip it completely around and that be Saturday."
