Former Bull Kris Taylor has been diagnosed with testicular cancer.
The 30 year old found out late last week, but still played for current club Hednesford at the weekend - scoring in their draw with Altrincham.
Manager Rob Smith told the local press: “It was an emotional day, with his scoring that goal as well. It was the most emotional dressing room I have seen. We are right behind him and he will get through it.”
Taylor is due to undergo an operation on Thursday. Bulls News wishes him all the best.
