Hereford United have confirmed that 'funds have been secured and underwritten by the board to satisfy the winding up petition' which was due to be heard next Monday.
The statement reiterates the fact that the club needs a lot of extra income in a short space of time.
"We have a payroll run to complete and shortly we will have a further tax bill to satisfy."
In the longer term the club says it hopes to inch towards a break even budget ahead of next season.
The club is hoping that supporters will do their best to attend as many home games as possible for the rest of the season and also try to get friends to come with them.
HUISA have been asked to help by 'fronting fundraising activities'.
A fans forum is expected to be held shortly to discuss 'revenue generating ideas'.
