Hereford United's youth team were back in action this morning at Leominster but couldn't quite match Newport County.
In difficult conditions the youngsters were defeated 3-2.
However there was further bad news for the Bulls when keeper Cameron Clarke had to be taken to hospital after a collision with a Newport player late in the first half. It looked as though he had damaged his ankle. Owen Evans took his place between the sticks.

But it was Newport who took the lead again just before half-time with a good move from the left.
Then just on the stroke of half-time Hereford were unlucky not to level the game when a shot hit the bar.
Ten minutes into the second half Newport went 3-1 ahead after some poor defending.
Hereford upped the pressure and Cory Williams got one back with a good header.
