No Christmas Day Training For Bulls

There will be no training on Christmas Day for the Hereford United squad despite having a Boxing Day match at Kidderminster.

"We will train Christmas Eve," said manager Martin Foyle.

"They will have Christmas Day off so they'll be fresh and ready to go.

"One days training doesn't make any difference."

Dan Leadbitter will miss the game at Kidderminster because of suspension. He also missed last Saturday's game against Cambridge.

"I just find it mind-boggling," said Foyle.

"I don't know if there are football people working in this game now but it's an absolutely ridiculous decision to give him a two match ban for squirting a little bit of water.

"I find it embarassing to be honest to be part of the game but these people are running the game but we've got to take it on the chin and get on with it."

Physio Johnny Evans is also banned for this game.

The 'squirting' incident took place at Lincoln last month.

It is not known at what stage during the match the incident took place but it might have been after Ben Tomlinson saw red for a nasty challenge on Leadbitter.

Players Leaving The Pitch At Lincoln. As Can Be Seen Several Of The Players And Stewards Were Looking At The Gathering Of Lincoln Supporters.
As the players left the pitch at Lincoln, several home supporters were shouting at the Hereford players. One least one was heard to say 'Gippo'.

When a complaint was made to the steward with the red coat, suffice it to say he took no notice.
